Meet Tyler
Tyler Colman, Ph.D. writes and speaks about wine. He got into wine the way so many people do: by doing a Ph.D. in political economy. His research there led to his first book and to becoming a leading voice in online wine writing with his blog Dr. Vino. A finalist for a James Beard award, Tyler is the author of two wine books, numerous articles in outlets ranging from The New York Times to The Oxford Companion to Wine to Bicycling magazine. Along with this deep knowledge of the industry, he knows many winemakers and their wines. He is a consultant to private collectors as well as restaurant wine programs. He recently started offering custom wine tours and led two tours in Tuscany recently. He hopes you can join him on a trip soon.
